Fun Weekend

G and P came in town this weekend on their way home from the beach and we had a great time. On Friday we went down by the river for a picnic and B played in the water. He had so much fun! I will definitely need to take him back down there with J and their bathing suits. Saturday was spent at the ball fields. J and B had a game at the same time, so we all split our time watching both games. I'm so thankful that G and P were here to help watch games and help with W. What would I do without them? Here's one picture of B's game and some fun times by the river.

J's Game

J had a baseball game this afternoon and played his best game yet! He really hit the ball well - one hard hit almost to the fence, a hard line drive down the middle for a triple, then a pop fly out and an out at 1st. He also threw one out at 1st. I am so proud of him. He has the best attitude and tries so hard. He will always do his best and be respectful to the coaches. I just love this boy and couldn't be more proud. He was proud of his hits yesterday too!

And he swings

4-23-07

Just a quick note to show our backyard. Our backyard caught on fire this morning while I was at the zoo with J's class. When I pulled in the driveway at noon, two of our neighbors had hoses trying to put the smoke out. They said the flames were as high up as their chest. You can't tell from the picture, but the burned area is about a 25-30 yard diameter beside the playground. Thankfully our neighbors saw it and put it out before it reached the playground or house. I can't even think of how bad it could have been. I'm in a bit of shock now, just thinking how lucky we were and how thankful I am of our good neighbors.

TGIF

Yeah! It's Friday! We didn't have anywhere we needed to go today so it was so nice to stay in our p.j.s until noon. B didn't have school, so we decided to make it a total play day. I told B he could choose anything he wanted to play today and guess what he picked. . . yep. . . baseball! We hit the ball, played wall ball, and played catch too. Lots of fun!

B's team won their game last night, 21-14. B hit a double and 3 singles and tagged one person out. J has a baseball game tonight, but neither of the boys have games tomorrow. I think Jeff is going to take them to the Spring A-Day Game.

Oh, The Places You Go!

W is on the loose and everywhere. It is really amazing how he went from just sitting to now crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything! And boy is he quick! I tried to follow him a bit today and let him explore the house. Of course the first thing he went to was the stairs. He has figured out how to pull up on the stairs and the other day I caught him on his knees up on the first step. YIKES! After he played on the stairs for a little while, he decided to play with the door stopper. Then on to the blinds on the window. After I immediately raised the blinds, he decided to pull up on the window sill and look outside for awhile. Like I said, he's everywhere and just too cute! I love this boy! Here are some of his adventures today...

Yankees Win!

Boy, the Yankees are still undefeated! B was so fired up after his game tonight. He told me before the game that he was going to hit 3 homeruns. Well, he was close enough... 1 homerun, a triple, a double and a single!. How about that! He also made a double play and tagged 2 kids out at home. He really gets into the game and you can tell by watching him how much he enjoys playing. Go Yankees!

Before the game Jackson let me take some pictures of him on the porch. He plays tomorrow night so I will try to take some pictures of his game. This is going to be a busy week of baseball, but lots of fun!

He is so helpful with W.

This is B's first at bat. Look how closely
he is listening to Coach Daddy!

He measures up.

SMACK!

He loves to watch where he hits the ball.
HOMERUN!

I love this picture...father and son in

Never Mind

OK, remember when I said how easy W is to photograph? Well, never mind! He is everywhere! Literally, within two weeks he went from this quiet, easy, immobile little baby to the wild man! He is crawling everywhere, pulling up on everything, finds every cord, plug and outlet in the house and says "da da, la la, na na" the whole way there. He is also fascinated with my camera, so now that he can crawl, he crawls after me each time I try to take a picture! Oh, and I don't know what he is doing in this first picture, but is sooooo makes me laugh!! So much for taking pictures today.

Wild Man!

Here he comes!

And here's sweet B saying, "Go Yankees!"

Sweet Sweet Baby

Check out this song.

Play Time

It was such a beautiful day today, finally warm enough to really enjoy playing outside. We played a little baseball, a little football and played on the playground. W is so content to swing and just watch everything outside.

I've always thought B looks like me,
but holy cow if this picture is not Jeff!

At least one of the boys looks like me! I think W is a
spitting image of me at this age.

Love these action shots!

Sweet Cheerful Spirit

So we have really been working hard at encouraging B with his sweet cheerful spirit and being cooperative. And for the last 2 days he has done really well. I try to be so sensitive to him and give him lots of love, snuggle time and one on one attention while J is still at school. He is such a loverboy! He really knows how to work me too. Today when he got home from school he said, "Mommy, you're the best mommy in the whole wide world." I, of course, melted and said, "Awww, I love you B". Then he said, "Now can I have some candy?!" He is a smart little booger! By the way, look at these big beautiful green eyes...

J's Singing Debut

Last night was J's music program at school. We knew he had a singing part in the program and he told us a bunch of other kids did too. Well, guess what? He was 1 of only 5 children in the whole kindergarten that had a singing part! I am sooooo proud of him! He did great, was not shy at all and sang his little heart out! Pappy asked him if he was going to be on American Idol next!

As I was sitting there watching him, I had tears in my eyes thinking of how proud I am of him and how he is such a leader in his class. He is so precious! I was trying to video him and take pictures, so I didn't get that great of pictures. He was sitting on the front row right in the center. Here's the singing star... you might need to ask him for his autograph!

Fun Times with Family

What a wonderful time we have had for the past few weeks. We have been so blessed to have some fun family time lately! I have a gazillion pictures that I'm going through from our visit with Giggy and Pappy, J's birthday, and Easter weekend. Here are just a few...

We had such a good time at G and P's house and literally played outside from sunrise to sunset. We went to the zoo and met Aunt N, E, and M, we had a cookout at night and one day, we took a little hike at Radnor Lake. We all had so much fun!

J also celebrated his birthday. I can't believe how big he is getting! G came and stayed with us to help get ready for the party and for Easter. We are so thankful for her help! The party was fun, a little crazy, but still fun.

Easter weekend came and went too fast. We always look so forward to having everyone in town for Easter, but the weekend just seems to fly by way too fast. I've just started going through some pics from the weekend and actually didn't take as many as I would have liked to with everyone. But here a few...
