Hello Dollywood!

We have come to just love going to Dollywood. It reminds me so much of going to Opryland when I was growing up. The boys love it too! We had such a great time over Father's Day weekend in the mountains.

Last ones from the beach

A few more from the beach. The color looks off on these because I forgot to convert it for posting to the web. But in real life they look great. I still haven't gotten to my pictures from Dollywood and the mountains yet. We leave for Chicago tomorrow and we are so excited. We are looking forward to seeing Evie, Mac, Aunt Nattie and Uncle Al. I'll have more pictures to share when we return!

Long time, no blog

It has been awhile since I last posted. I've had a hard time finding time to go through all the beach pictures. I went through the last few today and boy, I think I saved the best for last. I wanted to get some nice pictures of the boys on the beach to hang in the dining room and I think these area the ones I'm going to use. What do you think? I know B doesn't have his best real smile on, but there is a story on that one. He absolutely despises wearing "button shirts". So of course I had to resort to bribery (lollipops) to get him to wear it. I thought I better not push it too hard with getting the perfect smile too! Oh and I'm thrilled to have actually gotten a picture of all three together.

More From the Beach

We have discovered a neat little place in Watercolor called the Boat House and Bait House. It's a great little area with a dock and small boats and a restaurant that is fabulous. It is such a pretty area with gorgeous flowers. The boys enjoyed exploring and enjoyed looking at the little pier with boats and canoes. The restaurant is great and it has fun drinks for the kids with "worms" and "fish" in them. We went there 2 nights for dinner while at Seagrove.

Back From Vacation

What a great time we had on vacation! I just love the beach and it was so nice to have this time together with family. We swam, dug holes, built sand castles, went crabbing, and ate way too much. And I can honestly say I'm ready to go back! The weather was great, only a few days of clouds, but strong rip currents and big waves. There was a red flag on the beach everyday, so we didn't get to swim in the ocean as much as we would have liked.

I've started loading my pictures to my computer today and realized I took over 300 so it may take me awhile to go through them all. Here are a few from our 1st week in Gulf Shores.
