So Much to Post

I'm so behind on posting here...so much has happened over the last month! We have been SOOOO busy! First of all, we have a new member to the family...Lucy, our puppy! She is precious and is growing so fast! We drove to Macon, Georgia to get her and brought her home as a surprise to Jackson, Benjamin and William. They had no idea and were so excited!

Then Jackson turned 9! How did my baby get to be so big and grown up? He had a "spend-the-night" birthday party at the house to celebrate. He had 5 of his friends come over and they were very well behaved and had a blast!

Baseball is full swing. Jackson is on the Reds and B is on the White Sox. As of now they are both in 2nd place in their age group. Jackson is playing 3rd base again and B is playing 1st base this year. His team needed someone who could catch the ball well and so that is why B is playing there. They both of been doing great and I'm very proud of them. The Saturday before Easter, Benjamin had a ball game and he hit the ball over the fence! A over the fence homerun! WOW! We were all so excited and proud of him!

Easter weekend was a wonderful weekend with Giggy and Pappy and Momo and Grandaddy. They were all there to see B's homerun and it was a good weekend to all be together. The Easter bunny came Sunday morning before church. And then we all went to church together.

He just might be ready

He just might be ready. W always talks about going "potty" and is really interested in, um, bodily functions (toots, poop, and tee tee). He likes to sit on the big potty and pretend to poop. He might actually toot and he thinks this is great. Then he wants to wipe and flush...the whole deal. Well, this morning he was whinning and said his tummy hurt. I asked him if he needed to go poop in the potty and make it feel better. So he proceeded to take all his clothes off and sat up on the potty. And guess what.... he went tee tee! Oh he was so proud of himself and of course I was too! He kept saying "Good boy tee tee in potty". So precious!

Crib Play Time

While W was at school today, MF and I had some play time in her room. I needed to put away some of her clothes that she has outgrown, and she wiggled around her room and crib while I worked. She still is not sitting by herself, but she has started to get up on her knees and rock back and forth. She may start crawling before she can sit!

Miss my B

While looking back at my recent pictures, I just don't have any of B. It made me realize how much I miss time with him. Last year we had lots of time together since he was at preschool. I so miss that! Things just get so busy and the next thing you know, months have passed and my B has grown up so much. I wish I could just press a "pause" button or "slow motion" button to slow things down. I cherish that time we had before he started kindergarten and realize I have to make more individual time for Jackson and B since they are gone so much.

So about a week ago, B was being so sweet and wanted to play outside together. I don't even remember where the rest of the crew was, but we had some time just the two of us. We played "pig" and of course he beat me... for real! He's a good little basketball player.

Here's my Sweet B....

SNOW!!!

Can you believe we actually got snow? I didn't really believe the weatherman because they always make such a hype about snow and then it doesn't even rain. But it actually did snow this time! We probably got close to 4 inches, which is more than B'ham has gotten in about 15 years. The boys had a great time making snow angels, having snowball fights and we attempted to make a little snowman. This was Mary Fran's "1st snow", but of course it was a little too cold for her to get out!

What a difference a day makes

Poor William, he has a yucky stomach bug. Bless his heart, he feels pretty bad. And just looks at me like, "Mommy please do something to make me feel better." Yesterday he felt fine, but woke up this morning with a tummy ache...
