Working on a New Blog
Just wanted to link up to my new blog. I've started a new blog called Southern Thrifty Living. Over the last 2 years, the economy has hit Jeff's landscape business pretty hard and we have tried to minimize and cut back on a lot of our purchases. So I have become quite thrifty in numerous areas! My new love is couponing! I can't believe how much I am saving and could have been saving over the years if I had been couponing! Check out my new blog here!

Funnies
Just going back through some pictures and came across some funnies!!
William has always loved chapstick (or aka bittlelick). He also enjoys the occasional lipgloss!
Oh, won't he just love me in a few years for taking this picture!! HA!
He is such comic relief!
Now Mary Fran is getting into the action of dressing up!
Spiderman, Nobody knows who you are......except me! HA!
Swimming, anyone?
Doesn't everyone wear goggles and cook in their undies?

Mary Fran 19 months
It is hard to believe Mary Fran is 19 months! She is truly such a little angel and sooooo sweet! She is not saying a whole lot but this is what she does say:
mama
dada
jaaaason (jackson)
wuuu wuuu (william)
juice
mu (milk)
ahhhhh (love)
up
down
mmmm (more)
pa pa (pappy)
gege (giggy)
light
eye
tic tic (tickle)
dat (that)
na (snack)
uh-oh
meow
shoe
umma (gives kiss)
hat
hi-i (bye bye)
rolls her tongue in her mouth (trying to say blueberry!! so cute!!)
hot hot
This is all I can think of now, but I'll probably add to the list as I think of some more. I know she understands most everything we tell her. She will bring you things from across the room when asked, she will clean up (sort of), she loves everybody's shoes, and loves to sweep with my broom! She is really getting active and playing a lot. She can climb up stairs and down. Come think of it, she can pretty much climb on anything (couch, chairs, tables, banister sides!) I caught her the other day pushing a stool to the counter and climbing up to get a candle on the counter. Thankfully it was not lit! Usually she will obey and climb down when told, but not always. She can point to her eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, hair, ears, tummy, toes, and knees. She is somewhat sensitive, like Jackson was, and gets her feelings hurt easily if you scold her. But she is such a sweet blessing and I love her so much!

Do Not be Afraid
We had really bad storms last night and I heard William up and playing in is room off and on all night. I laid in bed listening and thinking I would hear him cry out because the thunder was so loud. But I never heard him.
When I went to his room this morning to get him up he was telling me all about the storms. He said, "Last week ago was really bad storms, but my not afraid. God told me 'do not be afraid'." Oh, I just grabbed him and hugged and kissed him! Just too precious!
He is so sweet and says such cute things!

Too much to update!
I really want to try to stay with this blog, but it would be crazy to try to recap the last 8 months of our lives! Long story short....had a great, busy summer, had a busy, wet fall with football, Disney and school. Benjamin played football for the first time on the 75lb. team. He played linebacker and some tight end. Jackson's 105lb team and Benjamin's 75lb. team won the championship!! Then came busy Christmas time and wonderful Sanibel time (even if it was wet and cold!) January and February have not been the best months, so we'll just skip right over to now, March!
Summer birthdays! Mary Fran turns 1 and William turns 3 (we won't say how old I turn!)

Quick Re-cap
The last month has FLOWN by! I can't believe it is already the middle of June. This summer is going to go by WAY TOO FAST! I have so many more pictures to post, but here are just a few to play "catch up".
Back in May, Jackson's class had an "Important Person from History" day. They all dress up as someone in history and gave a speech. Jackson choose Andrew Jackson and had a very cool costume created by Giggy!

Then we has a wonderful Mother's Day in Chattanooga...
B's White Sox team won the Championship Tournament! Go B!
William had a "field day" on his last day of preschool. He won 1st place in the sack race! This is his award/medal!
This is B's 1st All-Star game. They won the tournament and received a big trophy and medal.
So that gets us to June. I have more pictures of baseball and play time at home. We really haven't done much since school has been out.

So Much to Post
I'm so behind on posting here...so much has happened over the last month! We have been SOOOO busy! First of all, we have a new member to the family...Lucy, our puppy! She is precious and is growing so fast! We drove to Macon, Georgia to get her and brought her home as a surprise to Jackson, Benjamin and William. They had no idea and were so excited!
Then Jackson turned 9! How did my baby get to be so big and grown up? He had a "spend-the-night" birthday party at the house to celebrate. He had 5 of his friends come over and they were very well behaved and had a blast!
Baseball is full swing. Jackson is on the Reds and B is on the White Sox. As of now they are both in 2nd place in their age group. Jackson is playing 3rd base again and B is playing 1st base this year. His team needed someone who could catch the ball well and so that is why B is playing there. They both of been doing great and I'm very proud of them. The Saturday before Easter, Benjamin had a ball game and he hit the ball over the fence! A over the fence homerun! WOW! We were all so excited and proud of him!
Easter weekend was a wonderful weekend with Giggy and Pappy and Momo and Grandaddy. They were all there to see B's homerun and it was a good weekend to all be together. The Easter bunny came Sunday morning before church. And then we all went to church together.
So that was the quick version of the last month!
