What a Day!

Today was B's first school program. They had an "International Festival" and sang songs about France. Then they had a "Tasting Party" in the gym. It ended up being a cute program and B did a good job...however, the morning leading up to the program was not so great!

I think the grouchy bug was going around our house this morning. J woke up with it, then Daddy took him to school. Next came W's turn and he continued to cry and fuss until it was time to leave for the program. In the middle of W's fussiness, B decided he did not want to wear a "button shirt" for the program and refused to get dressed. Of course during all this, I'm trying to get ready, finish making the chocolate mousse for the program, get W ready and tidy up the house. Fast forward to loading the car... My bad ankle gives out and I fall on the concrete driveway... slowly, I get up and thankfully I didn't hurt it too bad. I was able to relax a little after I dropped B off and drove to get a Diet Mtn. Dew. At 9:30, I go back to the school and load up the 4 containers of chocolate mousse while pushing W in the stroller. I get right in front of the church door and 1 of the containers falls right on my foot! Mousse everywhere!!!! I cleaned it up the best I could and hurriedly went inside for the program.

B did a great job and the whole time during the program I couldn't help but smile and think how proud I am of him, regardless of how crazy the morning was. He looked so cute up there on the stage.

Now to top the day off, we get home and Taylor is barking in the garage. I open the door and I can smell it already! YUCK!!! Poop everywhere! And that has been our day... and it is only 12:30!

On the bright side, here are some handsome pictures of the "Button Shirt Boy"

"Momma said there'd be days like this, there'd be days like this my momma said." Heard that song? You've definitely had one. Just log it into one of those moments to laugh at in the future. Maybe even get jackson, B and jeff in on a good chuckle, too. I love you so much and you are such a fantastic Mother!
Great photos, too!
Just keep on being your wonderful, fantastic and cheerful self!
